Program Description: The Grantee will provide broad-based community services to:
- Improve the quality of life for children, youth and families by making human services, workforce development, health and educational programs and policy more effective, accessible, coordinated and responsive to community needs;
- Provide linkages enabling individuals and families to access state and local human service agencies; and
- Focus on ways each of the local communities served can address the most pressing self-sufficiency issues in their area.
To be eligible to apply, all current grantees must be registered in the Illinois GATA Grantee Portal, meet the Pre-Qualification Process, and complete the FY26 Internal Control Questionnaire (in the GATA Grantee Portal). See Grant Application Information and Instructions webpage for more detail.
At the time of application, all Bureau grantees must submit for each grant program the following documents:
The completed documents are to be emailed by May 12, 2025 by 11:59 pm (CST) to the Bureau email address DHS.ETNOFO@illinoi.gov with the subject line stating:
- Last 4 digits of CSFA #1268
- Provider Organization Name
For Example: 1268 ABC Agency
The Bureau of Employment and Training reserves the right to request additional information from the applicant to assist in FY26 funding and programmatic decisions.
