  • Call to Order/Introductions
    • Call meeting to order by Anne Tyree @ 12:05p
    • Attendees: Kelly Jefferson, Susan Miller, Melissa Haynes, Renee Zoll, Toni Jobst, Kimberly Conway, Amos Abbott, Stacey Arenas, Tom Windland, Jessica Atassi, Brenda Hampton
    • Absences: Michael Egbert
  • Approval of Minutes
    • September minutes approved, motion by Kelly Jefferson, 2nd by Susan Miller, All in favor
  • Meeting Logistics/ Open Meetings Act Reminder
    • Copy of minutes and recording will be provided to IDHS/DMH
    • Minutes will be posted on DMH open meetings page.
    • We will give the public 3-5 minutes for comments.
    • Public will be able to raise their hand via zoom during public comment section to provide input.
  • State and UIC Crisis Hub Updates
    • Went over Geo Routing and how it will work for 988. Brenda Hampton also gave details on how geo routing will work. Essentially calls will be routed by cell tower closest, rather than by cell phone number. Example: someone with a Chicago number who is in Carbondale would be routed to a Carbondale area response team.
    • Powerphone pretest -still working on data and with the 911 software companies. Other software companies will follow Powerphone.
    • Mandatory board trainings-all SAC/RAC members are required to take trainings annually. Anne recently took them, and it took a couple of hours.
    • Mandatory Trainings tailored to 988 Crisis Call Response Counselors, 911 PSAP, and Mobile Crisis Response Teams. For those in the pilots, there will be 6 trainings; the trainings are on demand trainings. Some are annual, semi-annual or as needed. An announcement will be sent out about the trainings when they become available and how to access them.
    • Sub regional Committees (SRCs)-went over the definition and responsibilities. Went over roles and basic steps. Brenda H. added more detail to the conversation regarding SRCs. SRCs will be under the Open Meetings Act; their function will be time limited and focused on the required changes for CESSA.
  • RAC Items + Committee Member Open Discussion
    • Salem Pilot will start soon
    • RAC 5 Kickoff Event is November 20 in Salem. We will not be having a RAC meeting due to the kickoff meeting. Poster was sent out to several partners.
    • Committee voted to skip December meeting too. Kelly Jefferson motion to skip December meeting and Amos Abbott 2nd. All in Favor
