The Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) proposes changes to the Early Intervention Program state regulations regarding the Sliding Fee Schedule (89 Ill. Adm. Code 500.APPENDIX A). Initial feedback was solicited as required by Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) that addresses services for children birth to 3 years of age with developmental disabilities or delays and their families. IDHS is soliciting additional public comments during the State's First Notice period. The proposed rulemaking and information on submitting public comment is available in Volume 49, Issue 1 of the Illinois Register. Public comment must be submitted within 45 days of the January 3, 2025 issue of the Illinois Register.
