FINAL INFORMATION BULLETINS POSTED:

The Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) has posted the below FINAL Information Bulletins.

With the New Year, there have been a number of new information bulletins highlighting legislative and administrative changes. Please review all Final Information Bulletins and all Draft Information Bulletins.

REMINDER: Illinois Medicaid Program: Provider Revalidations

In accordance with Federal Regulation 42 CFR 455.414, all Medicaid providers are required to periodically revalidate their enrollment information. DDD IMPACT Provider revalidations will continue to occur through 2025. Providers requiring revalidation will receive e-mail notifications prior to the assigned due date. DDD Providers are encouraged to e-mail DHS.DDDMedProv@illinois.gov following the completion of the revalidation process. Revalidation Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and instructions can be found here: Provider Revalidation.

LAST CHANCE TO REGISTER: INTERMITTENT CILA AND HOUSING NAVIGATOR PRESENTATION JANUARY 9, 10-11 am

In July 2024, the Housing Navigator program transitioned from a pilot program to a permanent program within the Independent Service Coordination (ISC) Agencies. An increasing number of individuals are interested in moving into their own housing and want Intermittent Community Integrated Living Arrangement (ICILA) services to support them. Therefore, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) is offering a webinar on the ICILA program and how it interfaces with Housing Navigation.

Description: DDD will be hosting a webinar targeted at providers who currently are ICILA providers or are considering expanding services to ICILA. Topics will include a brief overview of the ICILA program, roles and responsibilities, how providers interact with the Housing Navigators, what the provider's responsibilities are within the Housing Navigator program and lessons learned during the pilot program. There will be an opportunity to ask questions to a panel of individuals represented by DDD, the Housing Navigator program, and possibly others.

Date: January 9, 2025, 10 - 11 am

Please see additional Trainings posted on the website.

HEALTH RISK SCREENING TOOL (HRST) COMPLIANCE

DDD is currently auditing providers' compliance with HRST. Currently, there are over 1,000 individuals who have not had an HRST screen in over 365 days. A full HRST screen is required every 365 days for the individual's health and well-being. Additionally, having an outdated HRST may negatively impact the provider's funding. DDD hosts 2 annual trainings in conjunction with IntellectAbility to assist providers in effectively using the HRST. The most recent training is here: IntellectAbility Training on HRST.

Starting at the 29-minute and 52-minute mark, the webinar reviews reports providers can run to determine if the provider is in compliance. Please schedule this report to be automatically run every week to ensure your agency stays in compliance. Please see this Information Bulletin for more guidance on compliance: Health Risk Screening Tool IB.
