Logged Out Error
Often times, Step 2 - Connect an ABE Profile is missed when first setting up ABE Access. When this happens, the user may see the following screen.

To correct your issue, return to the ABE Access screen and select Connect an ABE Profile to try the process again.
Images Missing/Looks like Lots of Links
Sometimes, ABE and MMC may not look quite right. Images are missing, the colorful buttons are missing, or looks like a bunch of links similar to the image below:

When this occurs, clear your browsing history. In a pinch, use private mode in your browser.

What if I can't get past the Identity Proofing?
If you cannot pass the electronic Identity Proofing, use the Manual ID Proofing form and submit your proof documents (listed on page 3 of the form).
If you are in a time crunch, see DHS Manage Your Benefits for other ways to submit information to IDHS/HFS.
What if I get a message that says my session has timed out or ended?
After 30 minutes of inactivity in ABE, you will be logged out. If you are on a public computer this will happen more quickly. This is for your security. Before you log back in, be sure that you are using a browser that works well with ABE. We recommend using EDGE. Using an older browser version may also cause unexpected errors. If you are using EDGE, close the browser, reopen it and try again.
