  1. Open Meetings Act
    • These meetings will be subject to Open Meetings Act.
    • A copy of the agendas and meeting minutes will be posted to the Illinois Department of Human Services/Division of Mental Health Open Meetings Page.
  2. Call to Order/Approval of Minutes
    • Meeting called to order at 9:05am by Stacie Kemp.
    • Deanna Cada made a motion to approve the 9/18/24 meeting minutes. Jason Holcomb seconded the motion. Meeting minutes were approved for 9/18/2024.
  3. Members Present: Stacie Kemp, Heather Butler, Jason Holcomb, Deanna Cada, Nicole Weathersby, Danielle Angileri, Jason Hammer, Jonathon Larson, Jason Leverton, JoLynn Marcum, Joan Lodge, Mary Trujillo, Bridgette Maurino, and Brittany Carls. Welcomed new members. Stacie Kemp now serves as chair, and Heather Butler now serving as co-chair. One opening for advocate position. Danielle Angileri will reach out to NAMI Sauk Valley.
  4. State Updates:
    • In person RAC meeting was held on October 15th.
      • Went over goals to move CESSA forward
    • GEO routing has been implemented
    • Training is due by the end of the calendar year
    • RAC#5, Salem will not be part of the pilot, so moving forward without Salem.
    • Goal
      • Pretest started at the beginning of September
        • Determining if protocols are working
          • Transfer from 911 to Centerstone to Mobile crisis
    • Pilots won't begin before each entity completes training
    • The joint meeting with Centerstone, PSAPS, and MCRT will be held on October 24th.
    • Start date for pilot is unknown
      • 911 PSAP training going to be consolidated version
      • MCRT - 45 days for existing employees and 90 days for new hires
      • There is a live training tomorrow, Thursday, October 17th, from 10:30 to 12:00. It will be posted on the UIC website within 10 days after training and the topic is mental health and substance use disorder crisis.
    • Better communication - message to the public about resources
      • Change process incrementally to make sure doing it right
      • State could help with brochures, fillable for local resources
  5. Next Steps:
    • Once vacancy - Advocate
    • Begin discussion about SRC (subregional committee)
  6. Questions:
    • Certificate will be populated from OneNet, but committee members do not need to send this to anyone.
