PUNS Info and Training for ISBE

PUNS education for Illinois Schools

Per Public Act 103-0504 school districts will work with DHS and Illinois State Board of Education to ensure that all students with disabilities and the parents or guardians of those students are informed about the PUNS database, including how to enroll for registration in the PUNS database and who they can contact for information about the database and registration process.

This presentation is intended to educate designated school employees on PUNS, what ISCs do and how to locate and contact them, and the different DDD programs and services available to those eligible.
