PM 16-01-02: AABD Unit

WAG 16-01-02.

The payee for an AABD case is the client unless they:

• are determined physically or mentally unable to manage the benefits; or
• have a legal guardian; or
• have defaulted on a monthly utility payment arranged through Special Projects; or
• are under age 18.

NOTE: If the AABD client is under age 18 and lives independently, they may be payee with written approval of the Family Community Resource Center administrator (LOA). To get approval, the client must be capable of managing their own affairs.
