When determining eligibility of an NH or SLF customer for medical assistance, if the person has countable monthly income that exceeds the AABD Medical standard for one person, enroll the case in spenddown.

The spenddown amount for an NH or SLF spenddown case is the amount by which the person's countable monthly income exceeds the AABD Medical standard.
