As announced in the March Meeting of the Illinois Mental Health Planning Advisory Council, DMH will host two special meetings for IMHPAC members, also open to the public, to present what is known about the bi-annual block grant plan and receive input. The first meeting is scheduled for April 27 at 1pm. The agenda will be as follows:
1:00 pm - Convene and Welcome
1:05 pm Record Attendance
1:10pm - Description of Biennial MHBG Plan and Past Requirements.
1:20pm -Overview and Discussion of Introduction:
- Current/Planned DMH Structure
- Needs Assessment Processes
- Identification of Priorities
1:50 pm-Public Comment
Please be advised that the Division has not yet received official guidance from SAMHSA, so this discussion will be based on previous experience with the plan. Further discussion is planned in June, with hopes guidance from SAMHSA will be provided by that time.
