Countable monthly income is compared to the appropriate income standard, i.e., AABD Medical, Family Assist, All Kids Assist, Family Health Spenddown or 
Family Planning to determine what program the family qualifies for. For long term care cases, the Long Term Care Standard is used when determining the amount available to apply towards the cost of long term care.
The income standard for all Medical Only programs is based on the number of persons included in the standard. If a pregnant woman is included, increase the income standard by the number of children she is expecting.
Note: Family Planning always has a household/standard size of 2 regardless of how many individuals actually reside in residence.
