Q: Our organization already sent a Notice of State Award to the Deaf Regions Grant for FY25, but would be interested in expanding the program to support more individuals who are Deaf, DeafBlind and hard of hearing with mental health services. Is it possible for us to submit another proposal? Or add to our existing proposal?
A: Per the NOFO, applicants for state awards are allowed one application per Catalog of State Financial Assistance (CSFA) listing. To apply for the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) posted currently, your entity would need to withdraw its application to the NOFO previously posted. This would allow your entity to apply for the NOFO currently posted. Implications could be that the Estimated Total Program Funding of the re-posted NOFO may be significantly lower than the current application. By withdrawing the original application, it could negatively impact your base operations.
