Rate Increase for Residential Treatment Centers

The Illinois Department of Human Services Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (IDHS/SUPR) is implementing a rate increase for residential treatment services as defined in Public Act 103-0102. The rate increase is intended to adjust for increases in current average services costs. There is recognition that with few exceptions, the residential treatment service rate has not kept up with increasing costs since the last adjustment.

The rate increase is intended to incase reimbursement rates for all ASAM level 3 services by 30%.

These rates are effective as of January 1st, 2024.
