GA- Domestic Violence Prevention and Intervention Program (25-444-80-0652)

Program Description - The Domestic Violence Prevention and Intervention (DVPI) program provides safe, secure shelter (on and/or offsite) to protect victims and their children from further abuse; to provide information, support, counseling and advocacy services to help victims become aware of and take advantage of their rights and options; to provide supportive services that help victims become self-sufficient and enable them to live in nonviolent homes; and to educate and inform the community that abusing a family member is a crime that will not be tolerated.

FY25 Application:  Current grantees will receive a continuation application packet via email.

  1. This continuation application is for Fiscal Year 2025 funding for DVPI (CSFA #444-80-0652)
    1. Eligibility is limited to Domestic Violence Prevention and Intervention (DVPI) providers funded under Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) # 23-444-80-0652 and currently receiving renewal funding under this grant award program for FY 24.
    2. Each applicant must be registered in the Illinois GATA Grantee Portal and must continue to be GATA Pre-Qualified.
    3. Applicant organizations must complete the FY25 ICQ before an award can be made. (Accessed through the GATA Grantee Portal.)
    4. Applicant organizations must submit a complete FY25 Application Packet to DHS.DVSAHT@illinois.gov  by April 26, 2024 at 12:00pm. Include "CSFA# 444-80-0652" on the subject line.
  2. A complete application packet includes:
    1. Uniform Application For Grant Assistance (pdf) 
    2. FY 25 Program Plan
    3. Updated Contact Information form
    4. Grantee Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form
    5. FY25 Budget must be entered into CSA.  Grantees will be notified of the grant award amount to enter into CSA and due date for submission.

The Bureau of Domestic Violence Sexual Assault and Human Trafficking reserves the right to request additional information from the applicant to assist in FY25 funding and programmatic decisions.
