MR #24.02 Personal Needs Allowance (PNA) Increase to $60 for LTC NH Residents

Summary

  • State law (Public Act 103-0102) provides an increase in Personal Needs Allowance (PNA) for individuals residing in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF).


Effective January 1, 2024 the Personal Needs Allowance (PNA) for individuals residing in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) is $60.  This allowance should be applied to all individuals whose gross income minus deductions is equal to or greater than $60. Refer to PM 15-06-02-b for additional details.
