Eligibility may be backdated up to three months prior to the month of application if the applicant would have met the criteria for the backdated months.

An applicant's eligibility for one of the Federally funded Medical Programs must first be reviewed as part of their eligibility determination.

Note: NEW Enrollment in the Health Benefits for Immigrant Adults (HBIA) program was paused effective July 1, 2023.
