Medicaid Billing

CRSS are qualified to provide Medicaid billable services when employed by providers certified under Community Mental Health Services Program JCAR Admin. Code 059 Part 132

CRSS are also qualified to provide Medicaid billable services when employed by providers licensed to provide Substance Use Treatment Services under 77 Ill. Admin. Code 2060

CPRS are not qualified to provide Medicaid billable services if employed by providers only certified under Community Mental Health Services Program JCAR Admin. Code 059 Part 132

  • 20 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) specific to knowledge and skills related to the role of peer support in the recovery process (6 of these must be in CPRS Ethics)
  • 10 CEUs related to Core Functions of CPRS, but doesn't have to be specific to recovery and peer support
