Notice of Child Care Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) Benefits
This notice is to inform you of your eligibility for Child Care P-EBT benefits. The Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) has been granted approval by the federal government to continue to issue P-EBT benefits to eligible households with SNAP enrolled children in child care for the months of January 2023 through May 2023.
To be eligible for Child Care P-EBT, all the following must be true:
- The child is under the age of 6 years as of 10/01/2022; and
- The child actively received SNAP benefits for one or more months between January 2023 through May 2023, assessed on a month by month basis; and
- The child did not already receive School P-EBT Benefits for the same month.
The Child Care P-EBT benefits to cover August 2022 through December 2022 were already issued in July 2023. According to our records, your household received SNAP benefits for at least one month between January 2023 through May 2023 and had a child that met the above conditions of eligibility. For each eligible month in this period of January 2023 through April 2023, you will receive $20.47 and for May 2023 you will receive $10.47 for each child that meets the above requirements. May benefits are prorated due to the end of the Public Health Emergency on May 11, 2023. This amount will be added in August 2023 to the same Illinois Link EBT account as your SNAP benefits.
If you no longer receive SNAP benefits and need to order a replacement card, you may do so by calling 1-800-678-5465 (LINK) or visit www.link.illinois.gov to Manage your Link EBT account or order a new card.

Aviso de Beneficios de EBT (P-EBT) para la pandemia de cuidado
Este aviso es para informarle sobre su elegibilidad para los beneficios de P-EBT para el cuidado de niños. El Departamento de Servicios Humanos de Illinois (IDHS) recibió la aprobación del gobierno federal para continuar emitiendo beneficios P-EBT a hogares elegibles con niños inscritos en SNAP en cuidado infantil durante los meses de enero de 2023 a mayo de 2023.
Para ser eligible para el cuidado infantil P-EBT, todo lo siguiente debe ser cierto:
- El niño es menor de 6 años a partir del 10/01/2022; y
- El niño recibió activamente los beneficios de SNAP durante uno o más meses entre enero de 2023 a mayo de 2023., evaluados mes a mes; y
- El niño aun no recibió los beneficios escolares de P-EBT para el mismo mes.
Los beneficios de Cuidado de Niños P-EBT para cubrir Agosto del 2022 hasta Diciembre del 2022 ya fueron emitidos en Julio del 2023. Según nuestros registros, su hogar recibió beneficios de SNAP durante al menos un mes entre Enero del 2023 hasta Mayo del 2023 y tuvo un hijo que cumplió con las condiciones de elegibilidad anteriores. Por cada mes elegible en este período de Enero del 2023 hasta Abril del 2023, usted recibirá $20.47 y para Mayo del 2023 usted recibirá $10.47 por cada niño que cumpla con los requisitos anteriores. Los beneficios de Mayo se prorratean debido al final de Emergencia de Salud Pública el 11 de Mayo del 2023. Este monto se agregará en Agosto del 2023 a la misma cuenta EBT de Illinois Link de sus beneficios de SNAP.
