    • Legislation to extend the CESSA deadline by one year has passed and is awaiting the governor's signature.
    • We are asking for your suggestions and ideas on how the RACs can reach their goals.
    • Calendar of Deliverables will be updated, and we will send out to you once that is completed.
    • HB1364 creates a 988 workgroup to create action plan with recommendations.
    • RAC meetings can also continue with meeting remotely.
    • Questions:
      • For the risk matrices we received from all of our PSAPS, are we to send the state one matrix or each of the responses?
        • This RAC should be reviewing the PSAP matrices and creating recommendations. Look at what is realistic for the region. Can have multiple recommendations for each question on the matrix. Some RACs have created a sub-committee to review and create the recommendations and then present them to the RAC.
    • Dr. Ben Feinzimer, Laura banks, Brian Baker, Nancy Vacarro and Simone Wilson will be apart of the sub-committee and representative from the State Asantewaa Darkwa can assist if needed.
    • Landscape analysis data needs to be aggregated and sent to Dr. Mary Smith and Asantewaa Darkwa. This is due in July.
  • Status of Region 10 Program 590 Mobile Response Providers
    • Turning Point gave an update on their 590 mobile response teams. They are 100% active, doing community outreach, 24/7 taking crisis calls but the response team is not 24/7. Strategic on who is sent out to which calls. Currently have four teams and hiring two more teams. We come with snacks, first aid kit, harm reduction kits, and outreach information. If anyone would like a presentation from them, please let Simone Wilson know.
    • One Hope United gave an update on their 590 mobile response teams. Close to being 24/7. Active PR efforts to get our name out there in the community. Taking calls from a variety of folks, mostly law enforcement. Have had very little interaction with the hospitals. Chair Feinzimer will assist them with getting meetings set up with the hospitals in the area.
    • Lake County gave an update on their 590 mobile response team. Monday-Friday 24 hours a day. Hiring issues but working towards being 24/7. Get a lot of calls from the FBI. Working on community outreach. Coverage area is all of Lake County.
  • Next Meeting Date
    • Next meeting will be July 13th, 2023 at 9:00-10:30 am via Zoom.
  • Open for Public Comment
    • Matt Fishback - Other regions did general responses for their risk matrix recommendations. I didn't know that the 590s have already interacted so much with law enforcement.
  • Adjournment
    • Motion to adjourn by Member Mary Anne Glowacz, second by Member Mary Miriam Smith. Meeting adjourned at 2:07 pm.
