PM 06-38-03 Funeral and Burial Expenses

WAG 06-38-03

Payment for funeral and burial expenses may include but are not limited to the following:

• Transportation of deceased human remains to a funeral establishment,
• Preparation of deceased human remains for burial, including cleaning, disinfecting and embalming
• Preparation, direction and supervision of the burial, cremation or other disposition of the deceased human remains including but not limited to the furnishing of:
  • casket,
  • vault,
  • mausoleum,
  • columbarium, and
  • urn.
• The administration of the funeral arrangements, including but not limited to:
  • printed materials,
  • transportation of the deceased human remains to the burial site,
  • furnishing of necessary facilities and equipment; and
  • any other service related to the carrying out of funeral or burial services the Department may allow.
