- Last week, the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) announced four (4) feedback sessions on the implementation of Electronic Visit Verification (EVV), with the first feedback session being held last week. All feedback sessions are optional. Please see information below for registration information for the remaining, upcoming sessions:
- DDD has received several comments/questions about the process for clocking in and out using the EVV system. DDD reached out to ACES$ and HHAeXchange to see if they could provide a short demonstration about the process for their EVV program. The below video is a demonstration that applies to the EVV software used by ACES$ participants ONLY. We will share the HHAeXchange demonstration when DDD receives it. UPDATE ON 53R REIMBURSEMENTS
DDD previously communicated an issue with 53R (Temporary Intensive Staffing - Residential) reimbursements being paid at the statewide rate only. DDD staff worked with staff from the Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT) to fix the issue to ensure that individuals eligible for the Chicago Metro Regionalized Rate for 53R receive it. DDD is pleased to report that this issue has been fixed in the payment system. Providers should check for MOBIUS Remittance Reports dated 04/07/2023 for the payment adjustments for 53R billing for January and February 2023.
DRS WANTS TO HEAR FROM YOU - COMPREHENSIVE STATEWIDE NEEDS ASSESSMENT SURVEY
A reminder that DDD invites all partners to participate in the Comprehensive Statewide Needs Assessment Survey (CSNA), administered by the Division of Rehabilitation Services. As individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities represent a majority of all persons served in Illinois Vocational Rehabilitation, feedback from the CSNA is critical for continued improvement and allows DRS to investigate the needs of, and to improve employment support-services for, individuals with disabilities.
Please use the CSNA Survey Link, to access and provide feedback to the Division of Rehabilitation Services. The survey is open from Tuesday, March 28, 2023, through Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

As part of the Administration on Community Living's Lifespan Respite Grant funding, the Illinois Department of Human Services Division of Developmental Disabilities and the Illinois Respite Coalition are excited to announce the creation of this statewide survey to continue to understand and strengthen respite options that meet caregivers' expressed needs. We appreciate you taking the time to fill out this survey, and we encourage you to please forward it to anyone who is a caregiver. The survey is for all types of caregivers.
Responses to this survey are essential data and will be an invaluable tool to understand how the needs of caregivers can be more closely met.
