The meeting was called to order at 2:36 P.M. by Chairperson Cindy Barbera-Brelle
- Members Present: Chair: Cindy Barbera-Brelle, Bianca Campos, Alice Cary, Shelley Dallas, Drew Hanson, Charles Huff, Richard Manthey, Lee Ann Reinert (Proxy for David Albert), Brent Reynolds, Dr. Lorrie Jones -CESSA Director UIC
- Approval of the minutes and meeting schedule for January-June 2023 A motion was made to approve the minutes and seconded. The minutes were approved.
Meeting Schedule: 1/5, 1/19, 2/2, 2/16, 3/2, 3/16, 4/6, 4/20, 5/4, 5/18, 6/1, 6/15 A motion was made and seconded to approve the meeting schedule. The motion passed.
- Presentation by Melanie Payne, Training and Development Manager, Portland Bureau of Emergency Communications (BOEC)
- Dr. Jones informed the committee that Ms. Payne is ill and unable to attend the meeting.
- Presentation by Alexandra Smith, Asst. Deputy Mayor of Equity, Health and Human Services, City of Baltimore
- Dr. Jones introduced Ms. Alexandra Smith who shared a PowerPoint presentation describing the Pilot Project conducted the city of Baltimore. A link to the presentation will be posted on the IDHS website Open Meeting Page under the Community Emergency Services and Support Act Information link along with a recording of the meeting. Ms. Smith provided information and responded to several questions posed by committee members. Dr. Jones will follow up with Ms. Smith to obtain several pertinent documents.
- Review of Draft Risk/Dispatch Matrix
- Dr. Jones reviewed the first draft of a risk/dispatch matrix that she developed incorporating comments received from two committee members. The draft will be further refined and discussed during the next scheduled meeting.

- The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday January 5th at 2:30 P.M.
