SUBJECT: WIC Vendor Notice 23-03 - ProSobee Formula Recall

DATE: February 22, 2023

On Sunday, February 19, 2023, Reckitt (Mead Johnson Nutrition) voluntarily recalled a very small amount of Enfamil ProSobee Infant Formula. The recall includes two batches of 12.9oz containers manufactured between August 2022 and September 2022 that were distributed through retail stores nationwide in the U.S., Guam, and Puerto Rico. No illnesses have been reported and no other ProSobee Simply Plant-Based Infant Formula batches or other Reckitt products are impacted. Details of the product that is impacted by the recall is as follows:

For those vendors who have obtained their formula from the Manufacturer, Wholesalers, or Distributors

• arrange for stock pick-up or send stock to Sedgwick (Call Center 1-800-479-0551, email ProSobeeRecallEvent8215@sedgwick.com), or
• follow the established reclamation process for all Reckitt returns through DRS (Home - DRS Product Returns (drsreturns.com)).

For those vendors who have obtained their formula from other retail stores or pharmacies

• contact Reckitt at 1-800-479-0551 or by email with subject: Refund of Event 8215 at consumer.relations@rb.com. The manufacturer will let you know if product is to be destroyed or returned for refund.

Given the small amount of recalled product, this incident is not expected to have a significant impact on the infant formula supply. We will continue to monitor this dynamic situation to ensure WIC participants have continued access to safe formula to meet their nutritional needs.
