A. TANF Job Placement With Retention Program
TANF Job Placement with Retention Providers serve current TANF customers.
The Provider is responsible for assuring customers are engaged in work and training activities, for the required number of hours determined by the Department, in a manner that will result in a customer success level of at least 75%. Success is defined as being actively engaged in work and training activities the required number of hours, gaining employment or skills to become employable. Additional factors to determining success may also be specified in individual contracts. The customers Attendance and Activity Reports, submitted by the Provider, and the documentation of the immediate and appropriate action initiated by the Provider for customers who fail to meet the required number of hours will be used in determining the Providers success rate.
Providers earn retention bonuses for unsubsidized job placements. In order for a placement to qualify for payment, the customer must work at least 30 hours per week earning at least State minimum wage, stopping the TANF counter in IES or have earnings resulting in the cancellation of the TANF case. The customer must also meet the retention period of 30, 60, and/or 90 days.
B. TANF Special Projects Program
The TANF Special Projects Program serves current TANF customer or those who are TANF eligible. The types and levels of services to be provided are negotiated individually, when specific services are identified.
C. TANF Support Services Program
The TANF Support Services Program provides supportive services to current TANF customer or those who are TANF eligible. The types and levels of services to be provided negotiated individually when needs are identified.
