Change in Availability Date

All customers receiving Cash benefits who have enrolled in Direct Deposit will have their Cash benefits available on the 8th of each month.
Enrollment
The enrollment process for Direct Deposit has not changed. Customers who are eligible for and are currently receiving Cash benefits and would like to receive those benefits by Direct Deposit into a bank, savings and loan or credit union account may enroll by completing the IL444-2493, Authorization for Deposit of Public Assistance Warrant, and submitting to the Family Community Resource Center (FCRC) along with a deposit slip, or Section B completed by the financial institution. The completed form must then be sent to the Exception Processing Unit (EPU) for enrollment.
Cash benefits paid to a Protective Payee continue to be issued via Direct Deposit only. When processing a case with Cash benefits that includes a Protective Payee, the IL444-2493A should be provided to the Protective Payee.
