  • Public Comment
    • Kristen Jordan of Human Services at Schaumburg PD: Comment relating to how police are implementing a mental health program in relation to the HIPAA confidentiality standards.
    • Zachary Gittrich- mentioned that most OMA and Robert's Rule of Order allow to extend this section of the meeting to include questions. He was nominated for Region 2 regional committee and knows of another person who was nominated for Region 6 regional committee. Neither one of them have received any further information on when the regional committees will start. He encourages DMH to fill up the Regional Committees so they can start as soon as possible.
    • Cosette A.- She thinks that we should be able to ask questions at this time. She would like more information on if the arrest rates changed as a result of the co-responder models. Additionally, she wondered how they would respond to calls in the community, and not on the college campus. Any information on any non-police mobile crisis response and how their relationship is with collaborating with local police? She encourages diversity in this work.
    • Jesus Campuzano: He doesn't see why this committee cannot answer the questions now.
  • Motion to adjourn meeting by Member Drew Hanson
    • Seconded by Member Shelley Dallas
    • Meeting adjourned at 12:55 pm
