An adult regains medical eligibility when that person agrees to cooperate, and meets the requirement that caused them to lose their eligibility.
The person's medical eligibility starts the first day of the month that they agreed to cooperate. But medical cannot be started until the person actually cooperates. For active cases medical cannot be backdated before the month the person agreed to
cooperate.
For adult only cases denied at application for failure to cooperate, the person must reapply. If the person cooperates with medical support policy, medical can be backdated.
