Eligible individuals may receive retroactive coverage beginning three months prior to the month of application.

Note: If processing an opt-in Family Planning application, IES will determine full medical coverage for each backdated month and then cascade to Family Planning if determined ineligible for full medical.  Please see PM 06-26-03 Application Process for more information regarding the opt-in application process.

Family Planning Presumptive Eligibility cannot be backdated.
