CILA Rates Annual Update June 30, 2022
This data applies to Community Integrated Living Arrangement (CILA) Model Rates, Program Code 60D for 24 Hour and Host Family CILA and 61H for Hourly Intermittent CILA. This report shows the CILA Rate Model methodological changes for Host Family CILA from Foster Care and Hourly Intermittent from Intermittent and Family Intermittent CILA which went into effect January 1, 2022. The financial numbers (dollar amounts) in this report also show the implementation of some of the CILA Rate Model methodological changes from the Guidehouse Rate Study recommendations.

This issue of the CILA Rates Update represents data through June 30, 2022. Please Note: The financial numbers (dollar amounts) reported in this edition of the CILA Rates Annual Update have increased because of recent increases to rate and wage funding levels. However, Topline Rates remain approximately 7 percent higher due to continued temporary rate and rate formula changes implemented last fiscal year due to COVID-19. Temporary COVID-19 adjustments changed during fiscal year 2022 and some COVID-19 premiums remain in effect on June 30, 2022, when the data for this report was developed. A comparison of FY20 and earlier fiscal year reimbursement averages to FY22 may show funding changes as a result of some rate components being switched from paid in the 60D CILA rate to other billable supports under different bill codes. As such, a comparison to previous year's or future year's financial numbers may not be an accurate comparison.

This also assumes all awarded hours of 61H, 62H and 63H are billed at the 61H (1:1) rate.
