10.03 - Purge/Compress Files

Purge/Compress Files

This screen displays the options available under Utilities and Purge/Compress Files. Occasionally the DHSCRS files will need to be purged of old data or reorganized when the system seems to slow down or become sluggish.  The purpose of the purge is to release storage space on the hard disk by deleting records. It also compresses the records which remain on file.
