NOTICE OF CHILD CARE PANDEMIC EBT (P-EBT) BENEFITS
This notice is to inform you of your eligibility for Child Care P-EBT benefits. The Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) has been granted approval by the federal government to continue to issue P-EBT benefits to eligible households with SNAP enrolled children in child care for the months of August 2021 through May 2022.
To be eligible for Child Care P-EBT, all the following must be true:
- The child is under the age of 6 years old as of 10/01/2021; and
- The child actively received SNAP benefits for one or more months between August 2021 through May 2022, assessed on a month by month basis; and
- The child did not already receive School P-EBT Benefits for the same month.
According to our records, your household received SNAP benefits for at least one month between August 2021 through December 2021 and had a child that met the above conditions of eligibility. For each eligible month in this period, you will receive $31.77 for each child that meets the above requirements. This amount will be added to the same Illinois Link EBT account as your SNAP benefits in June 2022.
Child Care P-EBT benefits for January 2022 through May 2022 will be issued in July 2022. At a later date, IDHS will send eligible households a notice to inform them of the Child Care P-EBT benefit amount to be received for January 2022 through May 2022. If you no longer receive SNAP benefits and need to order a replacement card, you may do so by calling 1-800-678-5465 (LINK) or visit www.link.Illinois.gov to manage your Link EBT account or order a new card.
Availability will be based upon your regular SNAP availability date as follows:

AVISO DE BENEFICIOS DE EBT (P-EBT) POR PANDEMIA DE CUIDADO INFANTIL
Este aviso es para informarle sobre su elegibilidad para los beneficios de P-EBT para el cuidado de niños. El Departamento de Servicios Humanos de Illinois (IDHS) recibió la aprobación del gobierno federal para continuar emitiendo beneficios de P-EBT a hogares elegibles con niños inscritos en SNAP en cuidado infantil durante los meses de agosto de 2021 a mayo de 2022.
