PM 06-09-00: Pregnant Women and Newborns (Moms and Babies)

WAG 06-09-00.

Moms and Babies provides medical benefits to pregnant women aged 19 and older, and to infants born to women who were eligible for and receiving Medicaid for the birth of the baby.

The following Types of Assistance (TOA) provide medical coverage for expectant mothers and their newborns:

• Pregnant TOA provides medical benefits to expectant mothers 19 years and older;
• MB Newborn TOA provides medical benefits to an infant born to women who were eligible for and receiving Medicaid.
