The Illinois Commission on Poverty Elimination and Economic Security is working on a plan to eliminate poverty in Illinois over the next 15 years. We want to know how we can address the unique experiences of those living in Southern IL as we tackle systemic poverty across the State.
We invite you to join us via Zoom on Tuesday, October 5 from 6:00-8:00pm for a virtual listening session to discuss how poverty has impacted communities across Southern IL and how the State of Illinois can better serve you.
We encourage the attendance of all members of the community and to compensate those who attend for their time and attention, we are offering a $25 gift card incentive for those who participate.
