Effective Supervision: Evaluating CRSS Performance

This training will discuss the basics of the 4 domains of the CRSS: Advocacy, Mentoring, Recovery Support, and Professional Responsibility and how to use the 4 domains to create a job description for and evaluate the performance of CRSS professionals.

Tanya Cooley BA, CRSS
Tanya currently works as the Region 4 Recovery Support Specialist for the State of Illinois and as a Domestic Violence Crisis Manager at a local DV shelter. She has experience working in multiple positions within the mental health field including residential and crisis programs, PATH (Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness), case management, drop-in centers, and crisis teams in local emergency departments. Tanya has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Child Development, has earned her CRSS (Certified Recovery Support Specialist) credential, and is certified as a WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) Recovery Educator. She hopes that using her own story of recovery, she can aid others along their own path.
