WAG 02-04-10 Medical Benefit Choice Preference

The Program Request - Individuals page in IES includes the new medical benefit choice question and the requested program begin date. The fields will be auto populated from ABE. In addition, a worker may change these fields based on a request received from the individual.

Changes to the requested program begin date should not occur based on a medical benefit preference request during periods of continuous eligibility for children and pregnant women; coverage shall continue until redetermination.

Only an ongoing medical benefit month may be changed due to a medical benefit program request for an individual currently receiving medical benefits. A previously certified month should not be changed.
