A migrant's child may earn a portion of the SNAP unit's wages even though the unit gets only one payment. If the child is age 17 or under, attending an elementary or secondary school, and under the parental control of a SNAP unit member, their wages are exempt. If you cannot identify the child's wages, prorate the payment by the number of persons that worked for the payment. Exempt the child's share.
