RMP Eligibility Criteria 

Customers

To be eligible to participate in RMP, customers must be:

  • Experiencing homelessness: The customer must lack a fixed and regular nighttime residence or be living in a shelter, halfway house, or a place not designed for sleeping. This includes a homeless individual or household who is temporarily staying in the home of another person for 90 days or less, see PM 06-04-02; or
  • Elderly: Customers who are age 60 or older and their spouse, see PM 05-06-01; or
  • Disabled: Customers who are designated as disabled by a government entity and their spouse, see PM 05-06-01.

Restaurants

Restaurants approved for RMP must offer dine-in service. Restaurants cannot be exclusively carry-out.

NOTE: State Food customers may be eligible for RMP. State food will follow the same policy as SNAP regarding RMP.
