Policy Memo

Summary

This policy memorandum informs the Family Community Resource Centers (FCRCs) that Mid-Point Reports will continue to be waived until further notice.

Food and Nutrition Services (FNS) has granted the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) approval to continue to waive the completion of the TANF and SNAP Mid-Point Report (Form 2890) during the certification period for Mid-Point Reporting SNAP households. The FCRCs should continue to process redeterminations (REDEs) received from SNAP households whose certifications periods are expiring. See policy memo, SNAP Certification Periods will not be Extended Beyond February 2021, dated 02/17/2021.

Form 2890 is not being mailed to Mid-Point Reporting SNAP households at this time. The FCRCs will be notified when the mailing of Form 2890 will start again and when the office should begin processing in a future policy memo.
