PM 04-01-07: Adult-Only Pregnant Woman Case

A pregnant woman of any age who has no other eligible children and is not eligible as a dependent child may receive TANF in an adult-only case. Eligibility starts as early as the month she became pregnant. Backdate medical up to 3 months before the month of application, if eligible, but not before the month the woman became pregnant.

If the pregnant woman is married or in a civil union and her spouse/civil union partner lives with her, the spouse/civil union partner must also be included in the case, if eligible.
