PM 04-01-06: Adult-Only Case When All Children in the Home Receive SSI

WAG 04-01-06.

A child may not receive both SSI and TANF. When a child would be eligible for TANF except that they receive SSI, the adult(s) who would be eligible in the TANF case with the child is eligible in an adult-only case.

The adult-only case can include no more than 2 eligible adults. The case is category 06 if it contains both legal parents of the SSI child and both parents are medically able to work. It is category 04 in all other circumstances.
