Questions and Answers for the Family Advocate Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO)

1. I wanted to be sure you saw that there has to be an error in the description of the Family Advocate NOFO. It states that one of the performance measures is to lead the Going Home Coalition, which is an ICDD funded project with the ARC of IL.
   1. The Family Advocate program is required to be knowledgeable of all programs and issues that pertain to individuals with a developmental disability.  The Division would like to make sure that the grantee has knowledge and information of the Going Home Coalition to provide to individuals with developmental disabilities to make sure that they are able to make and informed choice.  The NOFO has been update to clarify this position.
