PM 02-08-03-c: Financial Management

WAG 02-08-03-c.

If monthly paid expenses are more than the SNAP household's monthly income and resources, the applicant must explain financial management before expedited SNAP benefits are issued, but they don't have to prove it. The SNAP application is denied if they do not provide an explanation.

If the explanation of financial management involves getting proof and proof is waived to issue expedited benefits, tell the applicant that proof must be provided before any more SNAP benefits are issued.
