Child Presumptive Eligibility at Application
Child presumptive eligibility (CPE) starts the date of application unless a child is added to the application request after registration of the application. For a child added to the request, CPE starts the date the child is added to the request.
Request to Add a Child to an Existing Medical Case
Effective with the implementation of IES phase 2, the date the child PE begins is the date of the signed request. Child PE is not available when adding a child to an active medical case until IES phase 2 is operational.

PE starts the date of application unless a child is added to the application request after registration of the application. For a child added to the request, PE starts the date the child is added to the request.
