Teletypewriters (TTYs) are located in each Family Community Resource Center in Cook County and in each regional office in the state.
Cook County applicants who have access to a TTY can communicate directly with their Family Community Resource Center.
Outside of Cook County, an applicant who has access to a TTY can communicate with their Family Community Resource Center through the regional office.
(FCRC) Tell each applicant who is deaf or hard of hearing of the availability of the TTY and the appropriate TTY number to use.
Include the TTY number on all written material sent to an applicant when the written material requires the entry of the Family Community Resource Center telephone number.
