Dear CDS Providers,
The Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) greatly appreciates your ongoing commitment to providing Community Day Services to Illinois residents with I/DD. To better support and stabilize your operations during this time, DDD is increasing 31U/31C CDS rate by 15%, effective October 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020. The new temporary rate will be $14.71.
The rate increase will apply to waiver funded CDS service recipients. We are exploring the ability to offer this increase for our ICF/DD participants. (Note: this rate increase does not apply for VDS (Bill Code 31V) or At-Home Day Program (Bill Code 37U)).
HBS families will need to revise their service agreements to accommodate this increase.
We are implementing this increase to acknowledge the reduced census and increased staffing, pay, overtime and other costs needed to support people with I/DD during this time.
