PM 01-01-02: Information and Referrals

WAG 01-01-02.

Clients and the public have the right to receive information about:

  • DHS policy, programs, and services;
  • program rights and responsibilities; and
  • services provided by other agencies.

When necessary, refer clients to other agencies for services.

Hand out pamphlets when a person applies for benefits or when they request information. Pamphlets in Spanish are available. Explain the contents of the pamphlets.

Post mandatory delete text posters in the lobby.
