DRS will be participating in DeafNation, which is a touring trade show for, by, and about Deaf people. This has been going on since 2003 and has attracted more than 1 million attendees. Admission to this event is free. A new addition to DeafNation this year is the career fair which will be held concurrently with the expo.
This will be held on April 6th at the William Rainey Harper College campus. DRS will have one table in the general expo area. A second table will be in the career fair area. DeafNation will run from 9:00-5:00. This will give DRS an opportunity not only to market ourselves to employers and job-seekers at the career fair, but also to make the general public aware of our programs and services that are available to individuals who are Deaf, hard of hearing, and DeafBlind.
