Description
Pursuant to 405 ILCS 80/11-1 the Illinois Department of Human Services/Division of Developmental Disabilities appoints a Developmental Disabilities Regulatory Advisory Board (DDRAB) whose members consult with the Department regarding Parts 115, 116, 117, 119, and 120 of Title 59 of the Illinois Administrative Code.

DD Regulatory Advisory Board is mandated to meet at least one time each calendar year. Meetings in addition to the ones listed below are scheduled as necessary.

Membership
The Advisory Board is composed of variety of stakeholders including persons who receive developmental disability services funded by the Division as well as guardians or family members of persons with developmental disabilities. The Director of the Division of Developmental Disabilities, representative of the Department of Healthcare and Family Services and the Office of the State Fire Marshal also participate. The Board includes representatives from statewide membership organizations, advocacy and labor union organizations.
