Type Action (TA) is the 2-digit code that identifies the action being taken on a case.
Item 3 usually requires the use of an Item 33, Type Action Reason. If a TA has special Item 33 instructions, they are noted under the DIRECTIONS/SPECIAL TARs column.
The most recent TA is printed on the Form 552 returned to the Family Community Resource Center. To make a change, line out the old TA and enter the new TA.
The following chart provides the category number(s) that corresponds to the description used in the PROGRAM(S) column of the Type Action Charts. When the entry is 'All Programs', it means all of the programs listed below.
