Retroactive pass through is support held by HFS. This usually happens when the pass through payment is sent to the payee of the TANF unit and is returned as not deliverable.
The retroactive pass through payment is centrally issued within 15 calendar days of HFS identifying a child support payment subject to pass through. The amount of the retroactive pass through payment is the amount of current child support received in a given month, up to $100 for one child or $200 for two or more children.
